We have the pleasure to inform you of the venue of the next Annecy Live Surgery International Shoulder Advanced Course (ALS) which will be held in Annecy – France on June 5-6-7 2025. It will be the 10th edition and 20th anniversary.
This event remains unique as it is the only shoulder course in the world dedicated 100% to live surgeries and live examination.
The format will be:
– Day 1: dedicated to the anterior shoulder,
– Day 2: dedicated to the postero-superior shoulder,
– Day 3: dedicated to the inferior shoulder.
Arthroscopy and open surgery will face Instability, Shoulder Arthroplasty, Augmented Reality, tendon transfers, plexus release, cuff repair & new innovative surgeries. This remains unique, and we will dedicate the course to live surgeries performed and moderated by 30 faculties, the most famous and experienced shoulder surgeons coming from all over the world.
As in 2023, both chairmen (Laurent and Thibault) will co-organize the course as a team, father and son as a mix of generation, they are complementary, and will bring new concepts to the course, with the presentation of new ideas, new procedures, and new format of discussion. In addition to the full 4K transmitted live surgery, we will emphasize the discussions, and expose complex cases and their solutions to the panel of attendees.
New sessions such as “Help! How do I deal with such a case?” will be organized, and interaction will be at the center of this event.
This course is changing, evolving, and adapting. The participants will be able to interact with the surgeons during the live surgeries thru the moderators (live chat) and of course will be able to participate in workshops organized by the sponsors in their lounges where the faculty of their choice will give lectures and animate debates and discussions.

The 10th Annecy Live Surgery International Shoulder Advanced Course, Annecy, France,
05/06/2025-07/06/2025 has been accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing
Medical Education (EACCME®) with 24 European CME credits (ECMEC®s). Each medical specialist
should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.”
Through an agreement between the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME® credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognised by the UEMS-EACCME® for ECMEC®s are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
As part of the process of the accreditation by the EACCME®,
all the participants will recieve by email, a few days after the end of the course,
a feed back form to fill in prior to the reception of the attendance certificate

Focus on live surgeries
Since its first edition, the congress has always been an event based on the principle of live surgery. This allows participants to better understand the subtleties of shoulder surgery techniques.
The interaction between the public, the scientific committee, the moderators and the operating surgeon offers an ideal experience to learn with concrete and complex cases.
The Annecy Live Surgery International Shoulder Advanced Course have been evaluated and approved compliant by Ethical MedTech.
