Dear colleagues, dear partners, dear friends,
Two weeks have now passed since ALS 2025. This 10th edition was a true success.
For the 20th birthday of Annecy Live Surgery, we couldn’t have dreamed of a better gift than sharing these special moments with all of you.
Above all, the patients operated on during the congress are doing well, and many of them have expressed their gratitude, thankful to have benefited from the faculty’s expertise and from your dedication and involvement during their surgeries.
We had hoped for a strong turnout, and we are proud to share that nearly 600 participants attended this year.
In a time when shoulder courses are multiplying across the world, it would have been legitimate to fear a lower attendance, or reduced support from our partners. But once again, Annecy Live Surgery has shown that live surgery still matters. Surgeons continue to value the experience of learning through real cases, shared in real time.
Organizing such a course remains a huge challenge — technically, logistically, and financially. And yet, looking back on this edition, we simply feel grateful.
From the bottom of our hearts: thank you.
And now, let’s look forward.
It is with even more motivation and ambition that I wish to invite you to our next edition: ALS 2027, which will take place on June 10–12, 2027.
You can count on us to make it shine again — to innovate again — and to keep pushing the limits to offer the very best of what Annecy Live Surgery has become known for.
If you were with us this year: thank you again.
If you couldn’t join in 2025: we truly hope to welcome you among our partners in 2027.
Save the date: June 10–11–12, 2027. Annecy. Live. Committed.
Warm regards,
Thibault & Laurent LAFOSSE

Focus on live surgeries
Since its first edition, the congress has always been an event based on the principle of live surgery. This allows participants to better understand the subtleties of shoulder surgery techniques.
The interaction between the public, the scientific committee, the moderators and the operating surgeon offers an ideal experience to learn with concrete and complex cases.
The Annecy Live Surgery International Shoulder Advanced Course have been evaluated and approved compliant by Ethical MedTech.
